So Pleased!

Hey, guys. I know it's been a while.  Do I think you missed us?  Mmmm probably not - but that's OK.  Really.  I'm not so conceited that I think the world must notice my absence.  We all have lives.  It's just been really busy.

So, I come back to spending a little more time in SL and decide to go shopping - mainly because I see so many people with these new big booties that I feel like I should take a test drive.  When mesh boobs came out I predicted that a mesh ass wouldn't be far behind [Ha! See what I did there? Terrible, I know.] but I have to say that I am disappointed.  I like that my boobs can be resized so they don't necessarily have to be ginormous milk sacks.  When I went to try the Phat Azz demo, I couldn't find anything about a resizer, so I assume that they are not re-sizable.  This is very no bueno - because those butts are not just Phat - they are effing HUGE.  I like the curves and I like the texturing, but the size has completely turned me off. Hopefully someone else with come out with another version and/or L.inc will update with a resizing option.  Until then, my lindens will remain nestled safely in my cleavage.

This being said, there is one good thing to say about my trip to L.inc's store: the Missy Tops! The vast majority of items I purchase for my Tangos disappoint me.  I don't think I'm more picky about clothing than I should be for what I spend - I just expect as much realism as will be allowed by SL.  For instance, I don't expect creators to be able to do anything about the odd lines and shadows that may occur due to the combination of shading in skins and AO movements or the no-matter-what-you-do-there's-always-pixelation on the edges of system clothing around the shoulders.  I get that - I do.  BUT when it comes to selling me things for my boobs, let's not have a shirt under the skin of my boobs where the boobs would attach to my body.  In most cases, I do not have strings, strands, or stray fabric falling out of the underside of my boobs in real life.  L.inc has addressed this by including two sets of system layers for these shirts.  One for those without boobs, and the other for Tangos - with the center of the shirt gone.  POW! Mind blown, right?  I want more shirts for boobs like this.  Just look...

Even if you were lying on the ground looking up, there would just be beautiful cleavage.
I'm telling you - if you have boobs, go grab your favorite color.  You will find yourself just as pleased.  AND if you know of any other stores that offer shirts made for boobies in a similar level of high quality, please IM me or comment below to let me know.  I want to go buy them all.  XD

UPDATE: I have since found excellent clothing with the extra care taken by the creators with another set of system clothing for use with Tangos at Blah! as well as Sugar & Cyanide.  Blah! just released some tops similar to those at L.inc and Sugar and Cyanide's Eternity Solids w/ HUD at the Boobies Show @ just 75L is an absolute steal, even if you don't have big boobies!

A few words on quality... skip if you want, but I think most of you would agree...
I just want to add - I buy all the goodies I need for blogging.  I don't ask for or accept stuff from creators for this blog.  I know it's going to sound bad when I say this and I don't care - if the stuff sucks, then I want to be able to say that.  I want to be able to be completely honest without any potential guilt.  That being said, I am particularly disappointed in the items I purchased at Holly Pocket recently.  I went to find appliers for some outfits I'd picked up months ago.  What I found was the opportunity to purchase the entire set again. Not just appliers, not just one bodysuit or shirt, but an entire set.  This kinda irked me but since I liked them a lot, I dove in.  I spent 1500L on a handful of stuff.  And, most of them will not be worn or won't be worn unless I decide to go boobless.  First there was the Teeny Kinis with the strings across the boobs on the applier - and then again underneath the applier, completely visible at almost every angle.  Then there were the bodysuits with garters on the front and not the back, not to mention the fact that the apricot bodysuit had the same black garters with pink bow that the black bodysuit had, which was just really kind of lazy on the creator's part (even cream would have been better). There were inconsistencies in necklines between the mesh shirt and the appliers for the Sweeteh Pie Tops. The Holey Moley tops have zero edging where the fabric is cut.  There were zebra print & floral bodysuits where the pants layer and shirt / jacket layers did not line up AT ALL.  I was actually jazzed about the Bootie Fun Hawt Shorts until I unpacked them and put them on - when I discovered that the alpha was bad and my crotch was eating the shorts.  There were no adjustments I could make to my shape that would alter this - I tried EVERYTHING.  Of course, had an alpha been included, though, I would have been able to fix this, but it was not.  There wasn't a demo available for them so it was a risk, and now I know.  So, while I absolutely L♥VE the Teeny Tighty's (I own 4 sets), Hanky Tops, Lacey Bare Minis, and Knotty Tops - the rest of it was less than satisfactory. :(  By now you're probably thinking, "God, this chick is a bitch to just post a laundry list of stuff she didn't like about one creator's stuff."  Maybe - or maybe I want those who look for quality products to avoid finding themselves in the same position.  Maybe I would like creators to put a little more into their creations - sweat the small stuff for us, please.  I know that I am willing to pay more when the products are well-made, and when they're well-made, I am a loyal customer.  If more creators thought "How can I make this better?  Does it look as realistic as it can be?" instead of "Is this good enough to put out for sale as it is?" we would have more tops like the Missy Tops above.  Never feel bad for expecting good quality!
